This Design-Build project included construction methodology, crane lift planning, engineered lift plans, truss bridge design, bearing designs, pipe connections, bearing design, as well as interfacing with the fabrication shop for delivery.
Provided severe right-of-way constraints, a flexible installation methodology was required to leverage the adjustible shoring design (by ARCH) and make the difficult pipe installation as easy as possible.
Major energy infrastructure projects most often operate under severe delay penalties, or speed incentives. Either way, production velocity is key to the General Contractor’s success or failure on a particular project.
