Arch Engineers Ltd. served as the “Clerk of the Works” (Owner’s Representative) for nearly seven years on the US$2.7 billion MSG Sphere project in Las Vegas. The team of over 25 full-time employees was responsible for overseeing quality validation (QV) inspections for all contractors and subcontractors, including civil, electrical, mechanical, and high-tech audiovisual systems. Arch also performed off-site inspections of long-lead, high-value materials and managed hourly staff tracking, invoice processing, and document control.
As part of their role, Arch Engineers provided critical reporting to the MSG Company, identifying discrepancies, omissions, and scheduling issues in real-time, while recommending solutions to avoid delays. They ensured that all trades adhered to strict project guidelines and that the complex systems being installed met the required standards.
Arch’s responsibilities also included managing documentation and coordinating administrative functions, such as invoice processing and labor tracking, to ensure the smooth operation of the project.
